Departure from hotel to My Tho to visit Mekong River. The hand rowing sampans boat lead you to the orchard islet where the almost tropical fruit could be found and tasted. Roaming around and observe how the people make their living from fruit trees such as coconut, collect honey at local garden. Having lunch in the nice resort by the river ( FREE TIME BIKING OR ROAMING AROUND COUNTRY VILLAGE ). Back to HCMC. End of service.

For those with just a short time, this trip provides an overview of this typical Vietnam. On the way you can see the green paddy fields stretching towards the horizon. After arrival in Cai Be, a boat take you to see the floating market with seller and buyers bargaining and exchanging their goods from their boats. Next, a boat rides on the maze of shady canals to arrive at a local orchard to enjoy the local tropical fruits and to see the daily activities of local people. Then you will enjoy riding bicycles or roaming through the village to have a look at several local product making shops. After arrival in Vinh Long City, we will have an enjoyable time to walk around the market. Back to Saigon, finish tour at 19.00.

Itinerary in Details:
Day 1: Saigon – CaiBe – CanTho
Depart Saigon at 8:00 am from your hotel. Head south to Cai Be. Upon arrival at 10:30 am, board a boat for a journey through the Mekong’s floating market. See how river life goes on here, watch the trading between merchant ships and local farmers. Alive and exciting. Cruise through the secluded canals and cross the Mighty Mekong to an island where we will stop to enjoy fresh seasonal fruit before boating to Vinh Long. Back on the bus for our trip to Can Tho to overnight.

Day 2: CanTho – Saigon
An early start for a boat trip to Cai Rang floating markets, then we have some distance to cover. First a cruise, then a walk on a quiet country road taking in the magnificent scenery and getting a little bit closer to the locals as they go about their daily routine. In the afternoon we head back to Saigon. At your hotel by 6:00 pm.
